Pupil Support/SEND

School Offer for Special Educational Needs

Greave Primary School is an inclusive school, the Governors and staff recognise that some pupils will have special educational needs. The school will seek to identify and address these needs (with outside agency support where necessary ) and may offer a range of provision to support children with SEND.

The documents below indicate the range of support available at Greave; it does not mean that every child has access to all resources and strategies referred to as we look at each child as an individual and make a professional decision based on an analysis of their specific needs.

Mrs Edwards (supported by Headteacher Mrs Williams) has responsibility for the co-ordination of special needs education at Greave with Mrs Katie Cain acting as SEND Governor
email: gov.katie.cain@greave.stockport.sch.uk

Irrespective of special provisions made, we will seek to ensure that all children have access to a broad and balanced curriculum. Parents will always be informed and consulted whenever special provision is being considered.
